拍品描述
A CHINESE PAINTING OF HARE, SIGNED ANONYMOUS Image only size 50 cm by 34 cm. Ink and colour on silk, mounted as a hanging scroll, anonymous Chinese old painting, measuring 50 x 34 cm. This ancient silk painting portrays a hare amid wild grasses, paired with a butterfly, gnarled trees and distant river‑bank scenery. The silk exhibits natural age‑related cracks and patina consistent with early Chinese works. Rendered in delicate, meticulous brushwork typical of traditional Song‑style bird‑and‑flower painting. No surviving artist signature, capturing quiet vitality of wildlife within a serene natural landscape.
