A CHINESE PAINTING OF LANDSCAPE, SIGNED HUANG BINHONG Image only size 32 cm by 134 cm. Ink and colour on paper, horizontal handscroll, measuring 32 × 134 cm. A panoramic river‑and‑mountain landscape executed in Huang Binhong’s signature dense textured brushwork. The composition features layered rolling mountains, dense woods, riverside dwellings, wooden bridge and a solitary fisher‑boat drifting on water. Bearing colophon inscription and two artist’s seals. Subtle pale mineral colours overlay rich ink textures. This scroll exemplifies the artist’s late‑period “thick ink” aesthetic, capturing the serene atmosphere of traditional southern Chinese river scenery.
