Carved from yellow‑green jade with prominent warm russet skin patches. Two recumbent horses are intertwined in dynamic playful pose, with finely detailed manes, musculature and fluidly modelled limbs. The stone displays a smooth lustrous polish accentuating natural colour transitions. It rests upon a custom hardwood stand intricately carved with rocky foliage textures, an elegant decorative scholar’s table ornament of accomplished craftsmanship.
