A Chinese nephrite jade chilong heart‑shaped pendant L. 5.5 cm. W. 3.5 cm. Weight 20 grams. A Chinese nephrite jade chilong heart‑shaped pendant, measuring 5.5cm long, 3.5cm wide, weight 20 grams. Carved from celadon‑green nephrite with areas of pale chalky surface alteration and scattered russet traces. The classic heart‑form body is centred by a circular aperture, overlaid in high relief with a sinuous coiled chilong dragon, complemented by scrolling cloud‑like motifs. Smooth polished surfaces exhibit a soft mellow lustre. This is a well‑modelled archaistic jade pendant intended for personal suspension.
