Carved from pale celadon‑toned jade naturally suffused with warm russet‑brown staining across the surface. A large recumbent bixie‑style beast forms the main body, with a smaller cub clambering atop its back. Dynamic curled limbs, open roaring jaws and scrolling decorative details are rendered in smooth rounded relief. The stone possesses a lustrous mellow polish, presenting a finely‑carved archaistic jade decorative carving.
