拍品描述

Chinese Tianhuang Stone Lion‑Carved Seal H. 4.2 cm. W. 3.1 cm. A square seal carved from rich warm golden‑orange tianhuang stone. Its finial is finely modelled as a recumbent mythical lion playing with its cub, rendered in smooth rounded high‑relief carving with meticulously detailed facial features and fur textures. One vertical side face bears delicately incised Chinese calligraphic inscriptions. The stone possesses a lustrous silky polish and uniform mellow tone. This is a distinguished literati‑style scholar’s seal, highly valued among traditional Chinese stone‑carving collectors. Dimensions: Height 4.2 cm, Width 3.1 cm. A tianhuang stone seal with lion‑and‑cub finial and inscribed verse.
