Chinese Zitan Wood Tripod Censer H. 20 cm. W. 17 cm. A well‑carved censer fashioned from dense zitan hardwood, modelled after archaic bronze ding form. Its open‑work pierced lid is carved with scrolling cloud patterns, surmounted by a lively mythical beast finial clutching a pearl. Polished to a rich deep reddish‑brown gloss, this fine wooden incense burner represents a distinguished scholar‑studio furnishing piece. Dimensions: Height 20 cm, Width 17 cm. A zitan wood tripod censer with open‑work cover and mythical beast finial.
