拍品描述

A Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer box L. 10.5 cm. W. 10.5 cm. H. 10 cm. Weight 230 grams. A Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer box, measuring 10.5cm long, 10.5cm wide, 10cm high, weighing 230 grams. Of globular spherical form, the fitted lid and body are deeply carved in the tihong technique, densely decorated with scrolling foliate vines, blooming flowers and dragon motifs across the exterior. Crisp layered relief carvings create rich three‑dimensional texture beneath the vivid red lacquer finish. Supported on a short circular foot. Minor surface wear consistent with handling and storage can be observed over the carved surfaces.
