拍品描述

Chinese Gilt‑Bronze Four‑Armed Deity Figure L. 15 cm. H. 24 cm. Weight 2690 grams. A finely cast gilt‑bronze figure of four‑armed Avalokitesvara seated in full lotus position upon a double‑petalled lotus base. Two central hands are pressed together in anjali mudra at the chest, while the remaining hands each hold symbolic ritual attributes. The bodhisattva wears an elaborate open‑work crown, ornate beaded jewellery and flowing layered scarves. Retaining warm gilded surfaces with subtle traces of original pigment, this devotional sculpture exhibits characteristic Tibetan‑Chinese Buddhist iconography and meticulous casting workmanship. Dimensions: Length 15 cm, Height 24 cm, Weight 2690 grams. A substantial gilt‑bronze Buddhist devotional figure.
