A Chinese kesi‑woven thangka L. 103 cm. W. 76 cm. A Chinese kesi‑woven thangka, measuring 103cm long, 76cm wide. Finely executed in the kesi tapestry weaving technique, this textile depicts the seated wealth deity with multi‑armed gestures, holding a jewel‑spitting mongoose, encircled by an ornate mandorla. The composition is enriched with blooming peonies, foliage and symbolic celestial backgrounds rendered in rich layered pigments. The textile retains frayed raw edges along the sides. Subtle creases and gentle wear consistent with age and storage are observable across the woven surface.
