A Chinese blue‑and‑white dragon stem cup L. 16.5 cm. W. 16.5 cm. H. 11.5 cm. Weight 390 grams. A Chinese blue‑and‑white dragon stem cup, measuring 16.5cm long, 16.5cm wide, 11.5cm high, weighing 390 grams. This high‑stemmed vessel features a wide flared bowl supported by a tall cylindrical stem. The exterior is richly painted in underglaze cobalt‑blue with dynamic dragons weaving amid scrolling floral vines. The stem is decorated with large lotus blooms and winding foliate scrolls, while fine double blue lines define the rim and foot edge. The cobalt displays natural tonal variations. Minor surface wear consistent with age and handling is visible across the glazed surface.
