CHINESE DOUCAI GLAZED FLORAL BOWL L. 21 cm. W. 21 cm. H. 7 cm. Weight 700 grams. A Chinese doucai glazed bowl, measuring 21 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height, weighing 700 grams. Crafted from fine white porcelain, the exterior is adorned with vibrant doucai enamel decoration: scrolling floral vines in hues of pink, orange, green, and blue, bordered by a ruyi-head and banana leaf band at the foot. The interior features delicate underglaze blue medallions, while the crisp blue line at the rim frames the composition. Reflecting the refined porcelain craftsmanship of the Qing dynasty, this bowl exemplifies the delicate interplay of underglaze blue and overglaze enamels characteristic of doucai ware, embodying classical Chinese decorative elegance.
