A Chinese celadon censer

拍品描述

A Chinese celadon censer L. 15.5 cm. W. 15.5 cm. H. 10.5 cm. Weight 900 grams. A Chinese celadon censer, measuring 15.5cm long, 15.5cm wide, 10.5cm high, weighing 900 grams. This bulbous‑bodied burner features a wide flared rim with subtle brown‑tinged edge. Supported by three robust moulded beast‑form feet, each detailed with relief facial features. The entire vessel is covered in soft sea‑green celadon glaze, suffused with fine crackle patterns across the surface. Minor glaze nicks and natural discolorations appear on the rim and feet, consistent with handling and age. The rounded silhouette and tripod construction reflect traditional Chinese incense‑burning vessel aesthetics.
