A Chinese nephrite jade archaistic bi disc with openwork crest, measuring 10cm long, 6.5cm wide, weight 60 grams. Carved from warm pale beige nephrite suffused with natural russet‑brown staining. The circular bi is densely covered in raised granular grain patterns across both sides. An elaborate pierced openwork ornamental crest extends upward from the upper rim, featuring scrolling archaic‑style motifs. Fine polished surfaces exhibit a soft lustre, combining classic bi‑disc form with decorative projecting crest for personal suspension.
