A Pair of Chinese Gilt Silver Pomanders L. 6 cm. W. 4.5 cm. H. 9 cm. Weight 140 grams. A matched pair of teardrop-shaped scent pouches crafted from fine gilt silver filigree, vividly decorated with cloisonné enamel phoenix and dragon motifs against delicate openwork metal framework. Each pomander suspends from thick indigo silk cord, accented with tiny pearl, coral and silver pendant details, with hinged sides to hold aromatic herbs. The set comes housed in an antique fabric-covered storage box embroidered with twin green dragons, cloud scrolls and Chinese characters on golden silk panel. Dimensions: L 6 cm, W 4.5 cm, H 9 cm, combined gross weight 140 grams. An exquisite wearable antique ornament showcasing intricate Chinese filigree and enamel craftsmanship.
