拍品描述
A pair of Chinese lacquer jars L. 11 cm. W. 11 cm. H. 10 cm. Weight 320 grams. A pair of Chinese lacquer jars, each measuring 11cm long, 11cm wide, 10cm high, with a combined weight of 320 grams. Each globular‑form jar is fitted with a matching domed cover. The exterior is finished in deep black lacquer, decorated with scrolling stylized motifs in red and grey pigment, accented by raised horizontal ribbed bands around the mid‑section. Fine painted scrollwork and geometric patterns adorn both the cover and lower body. The lacquer surfaces bear gentle wear consistent with age, preserving the decorative scheme across the pair. Well‑proportioned, these compact vessels would have served as practical storage containers.
