Chinese Jade Buddha Table Screen

拍品描述

Chinese Jade Buddha Table Screen H. 29.8 cm. W. 16.2 cm. A fine table screen featuring a polished white‑jade plaque delicately carved in low‑relief with a seated Buddha. The deity is depicted in lotus position with a halo behind the head, robes rendered in soft flowing folds. The jade panel is securely set within an ornate dark hardwood frame, supported by a matching stand with elaborate open‑work scroll and geometric fret‑carvings. Contrast between luminous pale jade and deep toned wood creates an elegant scholar’s‑table display piece of refined craftsmanship. Dimensions: Height 29.8 cm, Width 16.2 cm. A jade‑inlaid hardwood table screen carved with seated Buddha motif.
