拍品描述
A Chinese nephrite jade Weng Zhong figure L. 2.5 cm. W. 1.5 cm. H. 8 cm. Weight 40 grams. A Chinese nephrite jade Weng Zhong figure, measuring 2.5cm long, 1.5cm wide, 8cm high, weight 40 grams. Carved from milky white nephrite with subtle natural internal inclusions. The standing guardian鈥憇tyle figure is modelled with simplified facial features, wearing traditional cross鈥慶ollared robes and a formal head鈥慶overing, hands folded respectfully before the torso. Fine incised lines render garment folds and decorative details. A small suspension notch is cut at the top of the head. Smooth polished surfaces show soft lustre, serving as a traditional protective jade talisman.
