A Chinese openwork jade bi disc with dragon and phoenix motif, measuring 7.5cm long, 7.5cm wide, weight 40 grams. Carved from nephrite jade of warm pale beige tone with scattered dark mineral inclusions. The circular bi features elaborate pierced‑openwork design: a coiled dragon occupies the inner circular register, while a phoenix and scrolling cloud‑scroll tendrils populate the outer field. Smoothly polished surfaces showcase fluid archaic‑style silhouettes, fine cutting and rounded edges, representing a classic Chinese jade decorative disc.
