拍品描述
A Chinese archaic‑style jade bi disc L. 5.5 cm. W. 5.5 cm. Weight 30 grams. A Chinese archaic‑style jade bi disc, measuring 5.5cm long, 5.5cm wide, weighing 30 grams. The circular perforated disc is carved in relief with dense scrolling cloud‑like motifs covering both sides. The stone exhibits mixed beige, off‑white and pale grey tones with mottled inclusions across the surface. Smoothly finished inner and outer rims frame the decorated field. The piece displays surface patina and minor abrasions consistent with age. This classic circular jade bi embodies ancient Chinese jade‑carving aesthetic.
