拍品名(英)：A Galloping Horse with Poetic Inscription_Xu Beihong, 20th Century 文案(中)：徐悲鴻（1895-1953），江蘇宜興人。此軸寫立馬昂首，鬃毛飛動，筆墨爽利，題詩「百年沉痾終自起」等。悲鴻畫馬融中西畫法，以寫實造型為骨，中國水墨為神。立軸紙本，為其抗戰時期寄懷之作。 文案(英)：Xu Beihong (1895-1953), a native of Yixing, Jiangsu, was a pioneering modern Chinese painter. This hanging scroll depicts a standing horse with head raised and flying mane, rendered with brisk brushwork, accompanied by a poetic line "A century of deep illness finally rises of its own accord". Xu’s horse paintings fuse Chinese and Western techniques, using realistic form as the structure and Chinese ink as the spirit.
