拍品名(英)：A Pair of Eight-Character Running Script Couplets_Wu Hufan, 20th Century 文案(中)：吳湖帆，名翼燕，號倩庵，現代書畫家、鑑定家，出身蘇州望族，收藏宏富，山水師法董其昌、「四王」，書法趙孟頫、董其昌，俊逸秀雅。此聯黃箋紙本，行書八言：「玉塵生風銀床墜露，詞林視草書閣翻芸」，落款「吳湖帆」。對聯始於五代，盛行於明清，是中國書法的重要形式，多用於廳堂齋室的懸掛裝飾。此聯文辭典雅，以玉塵、銀床、詞林、書閣等意象，營造書香門第的清雅氛圍。吳湖帆行書師法趙董，筆致流暢，結體端雅，是其書法的典型風貌。 文案(英)：Wu Hufan (Wu Yiyan), sobriquet Qian’an, was a modern painter, calligrapher and connoisseur from a prominent Suzhou family. His calligraphy followed Zhao Mengfu and Dong Qichang, characterised by graceful elegance. This yellow-paper couplet reads: "Jade dust stirs in the breeze, silver bed drips with dew; among the forest of verses, the writing pavilion unfolds its splendour". Couplets originated in the Five Dynasties and flourished in Ming-Qing as hall and study decoration.
