拍品描述
A FINE POWDER-BLUE GLAZED ROULEAU VASE, KANGXI PERIOD China, 1662-1722. Well potted with a simple cylindrical body rising from a short recessed foot to gently canted shoulders and a broad neck, encircled by a raised bowstring beneath the everted lipped rim. The exterior is covered in a remarkably rich and intense powder-blue glaze of exceptionally even and homogeneous tone, contrasting with the white-glazed interior and base. The restrained simplicity of the form serves to emphasize the striking monochrome glaze.
