A rare 19th century Chinese export 'Production of Silk' pith paper album, Qing dynasty (1644-1912) comprising twelve individual leaves painted in bright gouache and watercolour on pith paper, a chronologically complete narrative cycle documenting the process of sericulture, each sheet mounted with its original pale blue silk ribbon boarder, with handmade mulberry bark paper covers, 36 cm x 26 cm o/a, images sizes approx. 30 cm x 20 cm
