A Pair of Chinese Paintings of Scholars at Leisure Qing dynasty (1644-1912), late 19th or early 20th century, ink and pigments on paper, very finely painted scenes of Chinese scholars gathered in scenic outdoor landscapes and pavilion areas socializing in pairs and groups engaged in leisure activities such as painting, poetry, and moon viewing, framed under glass in identical wood frames with lobed corners.
