A Large Pair of Chinese Porcelain Famille Verte Fish Bowls Republic period (1912-1949), in Kangxi style, each of ovoid form with flared rim, enameled in the famille verte palette on a dense green scrolling-foliage ground, the sides with shaped cartouches depicting court and literary narrative scenes, a band of blue diaper lattice with iron-red roundels and cloud cartouches below the rim, above a wide floral border with butterflies, a narrow foliate band above the foot, presented resting on carved wood raised stands.
