英文品名：A Qianlong period circular inkstone with its fitted wood box 硯作圓形，石質細膩，色呈青黑，硯膛開展，邊起窄棱，沿口陰刻回紋一周。原配木盒，盒蓋面直行陰刻楷書詩文，並鈴印。硯為文房四寶之一，圓硯又稱「鏡面硯」，取其磨墨圓融。此硯配原盒，銘辭古雅，包漿溫潤，可窺清代書齋清玩之製。 A circular inkstone of fine dark stone with a broad flat grinding well and a narrow rim incised with key-fret. It comes in its original wood box, the lid of which is incised with vertical columns of regular-script verse and a seal. Inkstones are among the four classic implements of the study; this circular mirror-style stone, with its fitted box and antique inscription, reflects refined Qing scholarly taste.
