A Chinese blue and white 'scholar and boy' dish, Kangxi mark and of the period (1662-1722), painted with a boy holding a goose, a seated scholar looking on, in a garden setting, the border with a repeating design of lotus flowers, tendrils and ribbon tide objects, the reverse with six character mark ‘Da Qing Kangxi nianzhi’, within a panelled border of tulips, diameter 20.2cm
