AUX ÉTATS-UNIS OF PARIS: A WARDROBE STEAMER TRUNK circa 1920s, leather and wooden brass-bound frame with leather and metal carrying handles, stamped with details to the wooden side panel, and painted with initials of previous owner ‘J.A’, 128cm high x 54cm wide The Keith Walton collection. Walton provided interiors for Ralph Lauren for 34 years. Aux États-Unis was in business from 1845 at 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris. Some surface marks and scratches to the leather and the wood. Some surface mark scratches to the brass corners and locks. The interior has marks and stains.
