A late Victorian Aesthetic movement ebonised, maple and gilt decorated pedestal open bookcase with gilt brass beaded mouldings, the top with a gilt brass baluster ledge rail back, having incised palmette, stylised leaf and roundel ornament, a moulded top and fitted with a central shelf, flanked by three open shelves to either side between pilaster stiles on short turned bun-shaped feet, 148cm long, 35cm deep, 106cm high
