Odo, a French Art Deco chiming longcase clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and chiming the quarters on a nest of eight gong rods, with nickel-plated weights and shaped pendulum bob, the twelve-inch square plated dial having raised stylised nickel Arabic numerals, stainless-steel hands and signed Odo, Made in France, the rectangular mahogany case having a panelled glazed front and standing on bracket feet, height 185cm. Notes: The Odo clock company, Fabrique d'Horlogerie Odo, was founded in 1920 in the clockmaking town of Morbier, France by brothers Andre and Roger Odobez
