An elm, oak, ash and partially painted country elbow chair, early 19th century; the hoop back with spindles and twin rear supports to a block at the back of the shaped seat; the serpentine arms each formed of a single piece of bentwood; on straight, knop-turned legs with 'H' stretchers; 90cm high, 57cm wide.
