A George III satinwood and inlaid writing desk, crossbanded in kingwood, bordered with boxwood and ebony lines, the shelved superstructure with shaped three quarter gallery, the frieze drawer with tooled leather inset sliding writing panel with adjustable centre, containing six short drawers below about a central recessed concave fronted cupboard enclosed by a pair of pleated and metal grille panelled doors, on square tapered legs, terminating in brass spade feet, 108cm wide, 56cm deep, 122cm high.
