In the style of Annibale Carracci (1560-1609) Abraham banishing Hagar and Ishmael Oil on canvas Unsigned 53 3/4 x 41 in. Blacklight: A 3 x 2 1/2 area of touch-up in the dark pigment of the lower right quadrant. A 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 touch-up in the dark pigment of the lower left quadrant, with a related patch verso, as well as a few smaller areas of touch-up along the lower portion of the left edge. Other smaller areas of touch-up occasionally in places throughout, including a few small flecks on the woman's face and handkerchief. Frame: 70 x 58 1/2 x 5 in.
