After Albrecht Durer (1471-1528) "The Last Supper," circa 1509-11 Woodcut on cream wove paper without watermark From the edition of unknown size and date, printed later With the artist's monogram printed near the center of the original block's lower edge; with text printed in the lower margin as part of the process for this later edition reading: "The Last Supper / Impression from the Original Block engraved by / Albert[sic] Durer" Image: 5 x 3 7/8 in.; Sheet: 10 1/4 x 8 3/8 in. Literature: see Bartsch 24; see Meder 133 Framed under Plexiglas: 22 1/2 x 21 1/2 x 2 in.
