A pair of French chinoiserie carved wood side chairs Late 19th century, in the manner of Cyrille Ruffier des Aimes (1844-1916) Each seatback carved with ornate dragon and cloud openwork and jacquard upholstery with brass tacking, the apron with meandering openwork above front legs carved with archaistic motifs ending in paw feet 2 pieces Height of each 36 3/4 in., width 19 1/2 in., depth 20 1/2 in.
