Two 18thC ornithological engravings with hand colouring comprising one after Francis-Nicolas Martinet, Le Cochevis ou La Grosse Alouette Huppee / the Crested Lark, the other Le Lagopede / the Ptarmigan after George Louis Leclerc Buffon. Together with two late 19thC French fashion engravings. Bird engravings approx. 7 1/2" x 6" (4) Please Note - we do not make reference to the condition of lots within descriptions.
