Wall Acrylic on canvas 84 x 60 in. (stretcher) Signed and dated '75 lower right, titled on back of the stretcher Unframed, large format painting (7 ft x 5 ft) h. 7 x w. 5 ft. Pitigliani was a female artist and illustrator who was a student of Roberto Melli (1885-1958) and transplant to the USA. Her mastery of color and gradients translated into a pseudorealistic view that captured the light, character, and grit of New York City in the 1970s &1980's. Over her career she was commissioned to create posters and promotional materials for NYC, Boston, Venice, and Rome, among others. Inventory Code: 1CA-29
