Remnants of Order Mixed media collage with washi paper on canvas h. 66.5 x w. 79 in., frame Signed and dated '66' lower left and retains a Felix Landau Gallery label on the reverse.The composition features overlapping rectangular forms of textured paper in blue and earth tones against a matte black ground. Paul Horiuchi is a celebrated figure of the Northwest School, and this 1966 collage represents his sought-after mid-career period. The scale is exceptionally large for his collage works, which typically appear in smaller formats.
