Each hexagonal porcelain stand features a cobalt blue ground decorated with white lotus blossoms and scrolling foliate vines in famille rose enamels. The sides are pierced with multiple quatrefoil-shaped openings, some crested by white bat motifs, and include gilt characters representing longevity. The upper and lower rims are bordered with ruyi head and geometric patterns in turquoise, pink, and red.
