A Chelsea Works soft-paste porcelain scent bottle in the form of three classical Bacchic putti (one putto appears to have goat hooves) among clusters of grapes and applied grape leaves, in the style of Charles Gouyn St. James, with a gilt-metal mounted grape cluster finial (attached with safety chain), the base with red painted French inscription that reads "vive le vin et l'amour" ("long live wine and love") among gilt-painted chalice and staff and bordered with hand-painted green scalloped rim h. 3 x w. 1 in.
