Neo-classical style patinated bronze standish designed in the shape of a vessel mounted on a rectangular green marble base. The inkstand features two removable lidded inkwells with floral finials flanking a central rectangular lidded compartment with a lion mask relief. Elaborate serpent-shaped handles are coiled at both ends of the piece, with the snake heads resting along the upper rim.
