A sterling silver trumpet-shaped vase featuring a flared rim and circular footed base. The piece is accented with bands of engraved concentric lines near the rim and on the foot. The underside is stamped with Tiffany & Co. maker's marks, model numbers, and the "m" director's mark. total weight 24.4 troy ounces. The hallmarks including the pattern number '17040' and the lowercase 'm' director's mark identify this piece as being produced by Tiffany & Co. during the directorship of John C.
