Williamsburg Bridge Oil on artist's board  20 x 16 in. (board) Apparently unsigned  h. 24 x w. 20 in. (frame) Pitigliani was a female artist and illustrator who was a student of Roberto Melli (1885-1958) and transplant to the USA. Her mastery of color and gradients translated into a pseudorealistic view that captured the light, character, and grit of New York City in the 1970s &1980's. Over her career she was commissioned to create posters and promotional materials for NYC, Boston, Venice, and Rome, among others. Inventory Code: 1CA-8
