Two floral still life paintings Oil on canvas 36 x 38 in. (larger stretcher) Appearing unsigned Unframed h. 36 x w. 30 in. (smaller stretcher) Pitigliani was a female artist and illustrator who was a student of Roberto Melli (1885-1958) and transplant to the USA. Her mastery of color and gradients translated into a pseudorealistic view that captured the light, character, and grit of New York City in the 1970s &1980's. Over her career she was commissioned to create posters and promotional materials for NYC, Boston, Venice, and Rome, among others. Inventory Code: 1CA-19
