This three-piece garniture set comprises a central mantel clock and two matching two-light candelabra, each constructed from white marble and gilt bronze ormolu. The clock is surmounted by two seated putti flanking a laurel wreath and features a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals marked "PARIS" above 6:00; the marble case is ornamented with fluted pilasters, a crossed torch and quiver motif, and floral swags, all supported by gilt toupie feet. The movement plate is stamped with serial number 1765 and a circular mark containing the letter 'A,' often associated with Parisian clockworks of the period. Accompanied by a matching pair of two lite candelabra, each featuring a central column with a pinecone finial and scrolled branches set upon a shaped marble base (each with mark 'A' or 'B' to base). h. 12 x w. 7.5 in.
