A Set of White Jade Square Pendant Necklace with Auspicious Beast Pattern The main pendant is a square plaque carved from Hetian white jade with mellow texture and elegant aged patina. The surface is decorated with shallow relief of a recumbent auspicious beast in simple, powerful lines. The plaque is framed with continuous squared spiral border, solemn and neat. Holes are drilled at top and bottom of the plaque. It is strung with elongated white jade beads, interspersed with red agate beads, finished with agate beads and small white jade drops at the tassel. The whole set is harmoniously assembled with evenly toned jade beads and intact cord. The auspicious beast motif symbolizes warding off evil and attracting blessings. As a classic traditional jade ornament, this complete suite is wearable and collectible.
