Property from an old Hong Kong family collection 香港家族舊藏 each 10.9 cm An almost identical pair of blue and white bowls from the T.Y. Chao collection was sold in these rooms, 22nd May 1986, lot 52. Similar ‘Indian lotus’ can be seen on a deeper Chenghua bowl included in the Illustrated Catalogue of Ming Dynasty Porcelain in the Palace Museum, pl. 10.
