Thérèse Bataille (1933-2021): A lady-shaped Dour earthenware vase finished with various glazes transformed into a lamp H 41,5 - 24 cm (with and without the shade) Thérèse Bataille studied decorative arts in Antwerp, as did her sister, Marie-Henriette Bataille. As part of her studies, she completed a pottery internship at the Château de Ratilly with the Pierlot family. In 1960, she joined the ceramics workshop in Dour.
