Antoine Coysevox (1640-1720, after): The crouching Venus, patinated bronze, late 19th C. H 28,5 cm The crouching Venus by Coysevox is part of the Louvre collection (Paris, Louvre MR 1826). The original model of Venus taking her ritual bath dates from the third century B.C. and was most probably made by the Greek sculptor Doidalsas of Bithynia.
